Fable Alibi: 'Golden Hour Groove'

Producer DJ CashD unveils the four-piece ensemble Fable Alibi on their debut project, 'Golden Hour Groove'. Blending neo-soul, jazz-funk fusion, and late-night instrumental textures, the album captures the warm, amber glow of an intimate 1970s jazz lounge and translates it into a timeless listening experience designed for deep listening and late-night transit.

The Sound of Fable Alibi

Recorded with vintage tube warmth and raw dynamic space, 'Golden Hour Groove' highlights the distinct voice of each member of the quartet. Elena Cross leads with evocative vocals and expressive flute melodies, while Sterling Brooks delivers breathy, resonant tenor saxophone arrangements. Wyatt Mercer locks into the pocket with warm, rhythmic electric guitar and bass work, grounded by the harmonic depth of Patrick Vance on upright piano and dusted Rhodes keys. Together with DJ CashD's production, the ensemble cuts through modern gloss in favor of authentic, unquantized pocket grooves.
